Crafting a Mood
Styling and visual storytelling have always been central to my creative process—especially in the development of Little in Lace. What began as a portfolio of design experiments has grown into a fully realized brand with a clear aesthetic identity. Every photoshoot, fabric choice, and layout decision is rooted in intention, working together to create a mood that feels soft, sensual, and timeless.
As the founder and creative director, I lead every step of the visual process. That means not only designing garments but also curating the sets, directing shoots, and styling each look to highlight texture, movement, and form. My background in both fashion and art allows me to approach styling from a holistic lens—thinking about how color palettes interact, how light falls across fabric, and how accessories or body language can elevate a narrative.
The recent line sheet was a chance to sharpen this skill even further. Each page was designed not just to showcase products, but to immerse the viewer in the brand world of Little in Lace. From the soft lighting and editorial poses to the hand-picked props and backgrounds, every element was carefully chosen to evoke emotion and reflect the intimacy of the garments themselves.
My goal has always been to create visuals that don’t just show clothing—they tell a story. Whether I’m directing a shoot or editing layout elements for print or digital presentation, I’m always thinking about how to build a world around the pieces. That’s the heart of my styling practice: crafting experiences that linger, quietly and confidently.
